John changed the lyrics from "or just vegemite" to "or will she be right" when American-owned "Kraft" bought Vegemite and refused to contribute to the "Australian Made" campaign despite profiting from it. John is now singing "or just Vegemite" again since Australian-owned "Bega" bought Vegemite in 2017.
