Happy New Year! How was your January?
Cathy and I spent a couple of weeks camping on the south coast in Murramarang National Park. We did a lot of bush walking around Durras Mountain, coffee at local cafes and then reading in the afternoons. I completed a book I had been reading all year - the journals of Oatley local, environmentalist, Miles Dunphy. An incredibly important voice and agitator for the setting aside of National Parks in NSW.
I played a bit of guitar. I was rehearsing a few songs in readiness for a John Denver singalong I am hosting later in February.
A restful time.
THE YEAR AHEAD
Lessons will recommence for adults from Tuesday this week. I will message to confirm your lesson.
Lessons will recommence for school-age and uni-age students from Thursday this week. Starting on Thursday will mean all students will have nine lessons this term. (Then 11 in Term 2.)
I am pleased to announce that Daniel Tomilaris will join us as a teacher this year. Daniel has considerable experience as a guitar teacher. He has been the visiting guitar teacher at St George Christian School. I look forward to Daniel starting with us, initially on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
If there needs to be any changes to your lesson time please make contact over the next few days. I will do likewise.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any enquiries.
I will send another detailed email over the next few days.
Thanks
