Based on the Harmony Roy Smeck Vita Ukulele made between the late 1920s and the outbreak of the Second World War. The Ohana pear-shape design updates the classic Vita shape with a slightly more modern feel. The Ohana’s seal-shape sound holes are less defined than the Vita’s were, making them more suggestive of the original than an exact copy. The solid spruce top Ohana over the mahogany body is a real nice look to the all mahogany bodies used by Harmony.

This is a comfortable ukulele to play with its pear shape removing much of the upper bout. This gives the opportunity for upper fretboard playing - with ease.

It is a Soprano scale length with a real “punchy” sound.

Work Completed
We have stripped it down, done a full service and restrung it with Aquila New Nylgut Strings.

Condition
The headstock has some scuff marks. The back has some small marks. The tuners are showing some corrosion, however after some lubrication and testing they are operating real nice. The solid spruce top is in near-perfect condition.

Mark says...
This a unique ukulele that will turn heads. I loved playing it. (I nearly kept it for myself!) It is selling at less than half price of the current model. Ready to go to a new home.
